AI REGIO AI4CNC (H2020)
The aim of the AI REGIO project is to provide a one-stop solution in efficient and sustainable production with artificial intelligence-based solution methods.
TROY IOT’s mission in AI REGIO is to predict the remaining useful life (RUL) of CNC cutting tools and inform the operators of the optimal replacement time of the tools through a platform by training with federated learning using artificial intelligence models of multiple CNC machines. Federated learning also provides data protection for machines.
Within the scope of the project, TROY IOT; will increase the overall equipment effectiveness of CNC machines with the establishment of digital platforms and data space sharing management in machining places and expand the limits of machine learning capabilities with transfer learning as a technology provider.
